Y AFTERSCHOOL

In partnership with the Stanly County School System, Y AFTERSCHOOL allows kids the opportunity to expand their in-school day with a balance of activities that give opportunities for character and leadership development, STEM activities, arts and humanities, community service, social interaction and physical activity.

We provide quality care for your K-5th grader each afternoon until 6:00 pm.  The program is offered at Badin, Endy, Locust (Stanfield students), Norwood (Aquadale) Oakboro STEM (K-8) and YMCA Pavilion (serving Central, East and Tillery Christian Academy students.) 

The Y Afterschool program offers snacks, homework time, tutoring, arts and crafts, group games, fitness activities, character development, devotions, special events, individual activities, service opportunities for the school and Y, and so much more.

KID'S DAY OUT

School’s Out (full days)  
School’s Out days (regularly scheduled holidays, professional days, etc) will be held at Y Pavilion or Main Y Building and First Baptist Oakboro from 7 am - 6 pm. Snacks will be provided. Children should bring a lunch.

Parents must register no later than the day before.

Full-time afterschool participants do not pay any extra for these days.
