The YMCA is still awaiting the date for the Governor's reopening of Phase 3, when the Y anticipates being able to open our indoor health and wellness facilities to members. Until that time, we are being thoughtful and intentional in our reopening process that follows current state and local guidelines.

Beginning Wednesday, May 27 the Stanly County Family YMCA will be opening both pools at 50% capacity. Reservations for lap swimming will be required. Maximum lap swim time will be 30 minutes. Call or stop by the membership desk to reserve your lane. You can also email Emily James, Aquatic Director.
Please bring your own towel with each visit. The YMCA will not offer towel service.
Modified group exercise classes for land and water will begin next Monday, June 1st. Schedules will be posted later this week. Due to CDC guidelines, class participation will be limited. Land group exercise classes will be held outdoors and dependent on the weather.
Minnie's Place and High 5 is taking one hour reservations for childcare that will also begin on June 1st. Capacity will be limited, so please make your reservation early. * Minnie's Place and High 5 will only be open moring hours.
Locker rooms will be available for limited use. We ask that you use proper social distancing while in these spaces.
Please be assured that your safety is our number one priority. We have put careful thought and planning into our reopening.
We have followed guidance from the CDC, local health agencies and public officials to update our policies, practices and procedures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene and make appropriate accommodations for social distancing so that every person who walks through our doors can stay safe and protected while getting back to what matters most: your health, your family and friends, and your community.

The Joining Fee is a one-time fee paid at the time you sign your membership application. These funds are used for facility improvements. Should a membership lapse for more than 30 days, one is subject to paying a joining fee upon returning as a members.
Method of Payment
Monthly: An Automatic Electronic Draft and easy way to pay as you go! Members can choose to be drafted on the 1st or 15th of the month. Monthly Memberships have no expiration date but can be terminated with a 30 day written notice.
Annual: Payment in full may be paid via cash, check, or credit card. Annual memberships are non-refundable and are renewable one year from payment.
In order to more quickly serve you, feel free to print out a copy of the Membership Application and fill it out prior to your arrival at the Y. A member of our Membership team will ensure all necessary information is present, but please try to fill it out in full. We have applications available at the Membership Desk as well if you are unable to print and prepare this before your visit.
Your Y membership card must be scanned upon entry to the facility. It also verifies your agreement to receive the benefit of membership and abide by the rules and policies of the Stanly County Family YMCA. Please present your card every time you enter the facility.

Lost cards may be replaced at the Front Desk for $2. Cards that no longer work or are worn out will be replaced at no charge.
Memberships may be cancelled by giving written notice 30 days before your next draft. This is a continuous membership valid until cancelled by the member.
