Building a Stronger Us

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

This renovation is just beginning, and will be done in 3 phases.
•    Phase 1 is a small phase, has begun, and is scheduled to be finished in early June
•    Phase 2 is a larger phase concentrating on the left side of our building, and will include fire and egress upgrades. This will take approximately 10–11 months ending around April 2027.
•    Phase 3 is also a large phase, focusing on our top floor, lobby and the right side of our building. This will also take 10–11 months.

Construction is planned to end in late 2027 or early 2028, with a brand new beautiful building. It will be a more open, updated code building with a resurgence that is much needed.

CURRENT FUNDRAISING PROCESS

We are pleased to report that our fundraising committee has raised $4.3 million toward our campaign goal, and Stokes Construction is beginning Phase 1. There is considerable excitement both within the Y and throughout the community. Our primary challenge at this time is that the total cost to complete the renovation is $5.4 million. Funding has been secured for Phases 1 and 2, and we will continue our fundraising efforts for Phase 3.
